Nov 25: Wonderland of Lights Official Lighting Ceremony. Experience the dazzle as Marshall Lights up for the 2009 season. A “mystery guest” will be on hand to “flip the switch” and sign autographs at the Courthouse Square. 6pm FREE
Wonderland comes alive as our NEW outdoor ice skating rink, Santa’s Workshop and much more open their doors for all to enjoy.
Nov 25: Let the hunt begin with Wonderland’s First Ever Scavenger Hunt. Clues will be hidden within Wonderland. Winner gets cold hard Cash!! Sponsored by Marshall Ford and Amtrak.
Nov. 27: Home Tours Begin. Take a look inside some of Marshall’s most prized and historic Homes. Friday and Saturday. 5-9 pm until Dec 19th. $20 for five homes.
Nov. 27-28: Let us wrap your Christmas gifts from any store! Free Christmas Wrapping at the Weisman Center in Downtown Marshall.

Dec 4: Bus Tours Begin: Ride through Wonderland on this guided tour. $10
Dec 4: Carriage Rides Begin: Take a tour the old fashion way and see the magic of Wonderland. $10
Dec 4: Carl Hurley Comedy Show: Laugh until you cry at this hilarious act at the Marshall Civic Center. Show begins at 2pm. For tickets call Sue @ 800-955-4746
Dec 4-5 let us wrap your Christmas gifts for any store! Free Christmas Wrapping at the Weisman Center in Downtown Marshall.

Dec: 4-5, 11 and 13, 18-19 “Christmas in The Piney Woods Play” Go Back in time and hear the sweet story of Christmas. Directed by Marshall’s own Dr. Frank Lower. Dec 5: Cowboy Breakfast: Enjoy a country Kitchen full of great vittles and cowboy singers 7:30-10:30 $ 10
Dec 11: “Sounds of the Season” band concert, 7:30 p.m., Ornelas Spiritual Life Center at East Texas Baptist University, Cost $10 Tickets are available through the MRAC office as well as at the door. Information number would be 903-923-2158
Dec 11: Battle of the Christmas Choirs: Hear the sounds of Christmas as area choirs sing their hearts out for the Grand Prize. Marshall Mall 6pm. Free to Attend $50 dollars to compete. New!
Dec 12: Santa Arrives at the Depot: Join Santa Clause as he arrives by rail for cookies and milk and a Christmas Story, 9am. For Free Tickets contact the T & P Railroad Museum at 903-938-9495
Dec 12: Mar-Tex Evening Lions Club - Wonderland of Lights Parade: The area's largest lighted parade. Enjoy lights and creative displays as the parade rolls through Marshall. 6pm FREE. Bleacher Seating $10
Dec 15: Wonderland 5-K Run: Bundle up and run through wonderland in our annual 5-K Run. $12 before Dec 12. Sponsored by Good Shepherd Medical Center.
DEC 15: 1-K Mile Family Fun Run: Not Ready for the 5-K? Get moving in this great event the whole family can enjoy. Sponsored by Good Shepherd Medical Center. New!
Dec 18-19: 2nd Annual Snowfest 2009: Slide down slippery slopes in downtown Marshall! 9am-9pm $10.00 for an all day bracelet. Bigger and Better for all to enjoy!

Dec 19: Wonderland of Lights Gala: Enjoy fine dining and dancing at the historic Marshall Grand Hotel with Wonderland as your backdrop. 6pm-10pm $25 per person $200 for table of 8. RSVP by December 10th 2009.
