AND THE GREG TALMAGE BAND TO HEADLINE
ROCKETS OVER THE RED

The 10th annual Rockets Over the Red will offer the best entertainment to date with performances by one of Shreveport’s premier gospel artists, Dr. Elbert W. “Eddie” Giles performing from his latest CD, “I’m a Winner Now”.  In the late 60’s Giles toured the country singing his hit, “Losing Boy” and has been the pastor of the Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Shreveport for the past twelve years.  Eddie Giles and Family will perform from 4pm until 5pm on Saturday, November 24 on the River Stage in RiverView Park.

Immediately following Dr. Giles’ performance is the Greg Talmage Band from Baton Rouge.  Blending soulful rock anthems with poetic ballads, Greg Talmage (the band) draws from the events of everyday life and a multitude of musical influences to create an audio experience that is truly a treat.neer in rock music. The band has built a steady and loyal following in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas of Lafayette and Hammond and have played with acts such as The Captain Legendary Band, Cowboy Mouth, Benjy Davis Project, Corey Smith, and Ingram Hill, all of whose fans have been delighted by the music. Greg Talmage will play from 5:30 until 8pm.

 Don’t miss the most exciting fireworks display to ever grace the skies of Shreveport-Bossier, when the pyrotechnics begin at 8:15pm. The 20-minute show is choreographed to a holiday soundtrack which will be broadcast over KVKI. The show itself can be seen on KPXJ CW21, thanks to our partners at KTBS.
