Area Artisans Flock to
The Holiday Market
At Festival Plaza, Downtown Shreveport

Shreveport-Bossier City, LA – Artisans from throughout the Ark-La-Tex will be selling everything from fabulous jewelry and great photography, to delightful stuffed animals and a great variety of delectable gourmet treats at this year’s Holiday Market.

The Holiday Market is the perfect complement to ICE! A Red River Revel Holiday Event. In its inaugural season, ICE! had more than 21,000 skaters and more than 40,000 spectators! As a result of this success, artisans from throughout our area are flocking to this year’s Holiday Market which will be open for five consecutive weekends beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving.

According to C. L. “Kip” Holloway, executive director, “Our opening weekend will be awesome! We can accommodate a limited number of vendors each weekend and already, our opening weekend looks like it could hit capacity! This is a great opportunity for area artisans and vendors to display and sell their creations – and a wonderful opportunity for holiday shoppers to take care of everyone on their gift list! Of course, we’re hoping to have the maximum number of artisans and vendors for each of the five holiday weekends.”
