The Chirstmas on Caddo Fireworks Festival is celebrating 24 years of holiday entertainment on Saturday December 1. The event will be held at Earl G. Williamson Park in Oil City, located on HWY 1. The festival will open at 3:30 p.m. with a variety of food vendors, children's activities and live music. At 6:30 p.m. the skies above Caddo Lake will light up with a fireworks display being presented by Pyromania Fireworks, LLC. Festival-goers will have the opportunity to shop the wide selection of arts and crafts and feast on fair-styled foods. The foods include gumbo, red beans and rice, Cajun chili and more. Children can visit with Santa to share their holiday wish list and receive a free gift from him. Photos with Santa will be available for purchase, too. Other children's activites include a jumpy houe, clowns and more.
