Day 1 - Shreveport-Bossier

Christmas in Roseland - Shreveport

What you'll find: The Gardens of the American Rose Center are transformed into a winter wonderland featuring more than one million twinkling lights, dozens of lighted displays, giant Christmas cards, Santa’s Candy Shop and more.

Rockets Over the Red Fireworks Festival - Shreveport and Bossier City

What you'll find: Live music, food vendors, and a fantastic fireworks show over the Red River. Viewing and festivities are held each year at Riverview Park in downtown Shreveport and Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets on the Bossier City riverfront. 

Historic Christmas Home Tours - Shreveport

What you'll find: Experience the elegance of Victorian Christmas decorations at the Ogilvie-Wiener Mansion located in downtown Shreveport. Tour Davis Homeplace, located in the historic Highland neighborhood, to see a home from 1916 restored to its original, luxurious condition.

KCS Holiday Express - Shreveport

What you'll find: Santa and his elves pull into town not aboard a sleigh, but aboard a locomotive! Families will love touring Santa’s dazzling train and posing for pictures with Santa and the elves.

Santa Land at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World - Bossier City

What you'll find: Stop in throughout the holidays and have your photo taken with Santa Bob, the only real bearded Santa in the area who has a degree from Santa University. Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World transforms the sporting goods store into Santa Land. Then shop at any of the 60-plus shops at The Outlets at Louisiana Boardwalk.

Day 2 - Minden, Monroe-West Monroe

Christmas Market on Main - Minden

What you'll find: Wrap up your Christmas shoppping in Minden!  There are boutiques, antique shops and galleries open for business along the historic brick streets.

Christmas on Main - Springhill

What you'll find: Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit with children at AmJenn’s Soups & Scoops located at 218 North Main Street. Get free photos taken of the children with Santa.

Main Street Lighted Driving Tour - Minden

What you'll find: Lighted downtown and neighborhoods of Minden. Established in 1836, this historic city’s downtown streets are still paved with bricks. Tour the Historic Residential District and make stops on our Annual Candlelight Tour of Homes.

Biedenharn Museum and Gardens - Monroe

What you'll find: Come and enjoy the beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the Biedenharn Home and Elsong Gardens designed by the Monroe Garden Study League. Each room is decorated with a unique theme.

Chennault Aviation and Military Museum - Monroe

What you'll find: Northeast Louisiana has played an incredible role in aviation and military history. The Chennault Aviation & Military Museum of Louisiana is dedicated to preserving that heritage and the first-person accounts of the men and women who contributed to it. During the months of November and December you can see the Freedom Trees. The Freedom Christmas Trees are 5 lighted trees at the Chennault Aviation & Military Museum set to honor the service of the men & women of the 5 branches of the US military. 

Shopping on Antique Alley - Monroe

What you'll find: Antique Alley is primarily located in the historic downtown of West Monroe, on the banks of the Ouachita River. Most shops are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and some shops are open Monday and Sunday afternoons. It features nearly 30 different shops offering everything from antique treasures to clothing and kitchenware.

Bawcomville Redneck Christmas Parade - Monroe

What you'll find: This is a parade like no other! You’ll enjoy floats with fun-loving redneck themes and throws that range from beads to toys to other surprises!

Downtown Renaissance Fireworks Extravaganza - Monroe-West Monroe

What you'll find: Come enjoy this incredible fireworks show after the Christmas parade in downtown Monroe. The fireworks show will take place along the banks of the Ouachita River. This event is presented by Downtown Renaissance.

Day 3 - Natchitoches, Alexandria/Pineville

Festival of Lights - Natchitoches

What you'll find: Six weeks of Christmas lights through the downtown historic district and along Cane River Lake.  Over 300,000 Christmas lights and 100-plus riverbank set pieces are on nightly at dusk. Discover the historic district on a carriage tour, and taste delicious cuisine from food vendors along the way. Enjoy live entertainment and fireworks each Saturday night.

Holiday Tour of Homes - Natchitoches

What you'll find: Hosted by Natchitoches Historic Foundation. Come and tour various historic homes decorated for Christmas.

Christmas Downriver - Natchitoches

What you'll find: Creole Christmas at Oakland Plantation with special tours, educational programs and musical events.

Fete de Hiver - Natchitoches

What you'll find: Celebrate Christmas 18th-century-style with historians, re-enactors and period merchants at Fort St. Jean Baptiste.

Annual 12 Nights of Christmas - Alexandria

What you'll find: The City of Alexandria turns on the Christmas lights for the annual 12 Nights of Christmas. Families can listen to storytelling and vintage music, take a picture with Santa Clause, make their own old-fashioned ornaments, enjoy refreshments and more.

Christmas on the Bayou - Boyce

What you'll find: Take a tour of historic Juliette Plantation, built in 1880, featuring 24 exquisitely decorated Christmas trees. Annual event features home tour and Elite Art Show.

Holiday Light Safari - Alexandria

What you'll find: See the zoo in a different light. Thousands of glistening lights will transform the zoo into a sparkling winter wonderland. Visit with Santa, warm up by the bonfire, and enjoy holiday treats from the café. Musical entertainment will be held on select evenings.

City of Pineville Christmas Parade - Pineville

What you'll find: This evening parade begins on Main Street at Hospital/Napoleon Blvd., in front of Huey P. Long. The parade will continue up Main Street to Military Highway and end at the Trotter Center (Military Highway at Claiborne Street).

Alexandria Christmas Parade - Alexandria

What you'll find: Sponsored by the Alexandria Mardi Gras Association. The route begins off MacArthur Drive (Frontage Road) and Metro Drive, then travels to Jackson Street, ending at Alexandria Senior High School.

A CENLA Christmas Spectacular

What you'll find: The only event of its kind in Central Louisiana, this Christmas variety show is in the vein of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in New York City. Featuring performances from your favorite dance troupes, choirs, theatre groups, and many more! Bring the whole family to this event which will keep the jingle bells ringing in your heart all the way through Christmas season!
